This is the locking nut currently used on all Patriot Wood Chippers to attach the plastic cone and shredder hopper. We have chosen this style of nut for its ability to withstand vibration.

NOTE: Patriot highly recommends replacing these nylon insert lock nuts any time you disassemble and reassemble these connections
